General

About the practice.

We're a boutique advisory practice combining hands-on process improvement (Lean Six Sigma discipline), practical AI, and people strategy — starting every engagement with a fixed-fee diagnostic called the Business Health Scan. From there, work is scoped around what the Scan actually finds, not a generic package.

No. We work with businesses and charities of all sizes, and most of our clients don't have an in-house transformation or operations team of their own — that's exactly the gap we exist to fill. We've also delivered programmes for FTSE 250 and public sector clients, so the same rigour applies whatever the scale.

We're based in Newry and South Down, Northern Ireland, and work NI-wide, with a focus on the South Down and South Armagh region. Remote and hybrid delivery is available for clients further afield — get in touch if you're unsure whether we can help.

You pay a small, fixed fee upfront for the Scan, and what you get back is a roadmap you keep regardless of what you do next — not a free "audit" designed to sell you a large, open-ended programme.

Pricing & Packages

What things cost, and why.

A Process Efficiency Audit starts from £1,800 and typically takes 2–3 weeks, scoped around one process you've flagged as slow, costly or error-prone. The broader Business Health Scan, covering process, technology and people together, is a fixed £950.

Because the right scope for an Improve package depends entirely on what the Scan finds — a vague upfront quote would either overcharge you for a small fix or undersell a bigger one. You'll get a firm, specific price before any Improve work starts.

No. The Scan stands on its own — you keep the roadmap either way. Most clients choose to continue because the Scan makes the next step obvious, but there's never an expectation to.

Yes — the Charity Process Review is priced specifically for the sector, from £1,500, and we're happy to discuss budget constraints for other packages on the walkthrough call.

Process, AI & Method

How the work actually happens.

It's a way of finding where a process is wasteful or inconsistent and fixing the specific point causing the problem, rather than guessing at a general efficiency drive. We apply the same discipline used by large insurers and manufacturers, scaled down to fit a smaller team's time and budget. Read more in our guide to what Lean Six Sigma actually means for a business your size.

No. AI readiness is assessed as standard in every Scan, but we only recommend it where a process has the volume and repetition to justify it. Roughly a third of the time, the right fix is a process or policy change, not a tool — see our piece on where AI actually saves time.

The Scan takes 1–2 weeks. Improve packages typically run 2–10 weeks depending on scope, and Control is an ongoing monthly partnership rather than a fixed-length project.

Then you've spent £950 confirming things are in reasonably good shape — genuinely useful information, and far cheaper than finding out the hard way. In practice this is rare; most businesses carry more friction than they realise until it's measured.

Charities & Public Sector

Sector-specific questions.

Yes — we've delivered savings and process programmes for public bodies, including a £2.9M savings plan across 23 workstreams, with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement and protecting frontline services. Read more in our piece on finding public sector savings without cutting frontline services.

It shouldn't, and if a recommendation would, we'd flag that trade-off rather than push it through. Good governance and a charity's culture aren't actually in tension — bureaucracy and culture are. See our piece on professionalising charity operations without losing your culture.
